Ajay Kapoor is the Chief Digital Officer of Shark Ninja. He is also involved in the formation of TiE ENTER, a non-profit organization that revolves around small, informal campus-based meetups between college entrepreneurs and established mentors. Prior to these ventures, Ajay was involved in starting EcoPowered Solutions, a company that produced and market a handheld solar charger device for the U.S. market. A recent graduate of the Yale School of Management where he was a co-leader of the Entrepreneurship Club, he was recognized as a Dean’s Scholar and a fellow at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute. Prior to Yale, Alan was a member of the Quantitative Strategies Group at Public Financial Management. While in Thailand, I founded the country’s first V-Day campaign, bringing awareness about victims of violence to thousands of people, including a sold-out 4000-person audience. I studied Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University, graduating with an honors thesis.

Alex Bisignano is a Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer for Recombine, a genetic testing company which tests couples before pregnancy to help reduce genetic disease. In late 2009 he founded Cromosoft, which provided high-end bioinformatic solutions for molecular genetic data. Alex is an experienced computer programmer with knowledge of most major web development languages, and combines his experience in web development with his knowledge of bioinformatics to provide simple, interactive, and easy to use programs for genetic analysis. Previously, Alex worked as a consultant for Credit Suisse where he was responsible for improving the performance of large internal database systems. Alex graduated with an A.B. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. He is a 2012 fellow in the Start-up Leadership Program class in New York.

Alok is currently a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. Prior to this he was a healthcare management consultant with the firm Health Advances. As a Senior Analyst he works to assist biotechnology, medical technology and pharmaceutical firms with new product commercialization strategy, product portfolio prioritization and valuation of new technologies and concepts. Prior to Health Advances, Alok was a Senior Research Scientist in Cardiac Rhythm Management division of Boston Scientific, formerly Guidant. As a Senior Research Scientist, Alok was intimately involved with the ideation, development and implementation of novel device based technologies through bench, pre-clinical and human clinical trial evaluation. He was selected as a 2008 Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program in Boston. Alok is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University where he received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and a graduate degree in cardiac tissue engineering, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

André Dettler is the founder of ChirpCamera, a startup producing pet selfie cameras. He is also currently working as Senior Product Designer at Verizon Open Innovation. Prior to ChirpCamera, he worked at The Zahn Innovation Center, where he was Managing Director of Tech Entrepeneurship. André has also worked at Techstars, i2design, MindsInSync Inc., Steelcase and Siemens. He is an expert in product & industrial design and design strategy. With over a decade of experience in content development, publishing, and visual media, Anna Lopriore has experienced first-hand the transition from print to digital. She currently works as a freelance UX specialist and multimedia producer. Together with Zago, a strategy and design firm in New York, Anna is the founder of Reportable, an app that allows users to annotate and share media files from their mobile devices. Reportable is a recipient of the Knight Foundation’s Prototype Fund. Previously, she was at Human Rights Watch where she worked on award-winning media features. She is a graduate of the Delft University of Technology.
