Alexander ChemerisCEO/FounderFairwaves
Alexander Chemeris is the Founder/CEO of Fairwaves, where he builds the lowest cost mobile networks for developing countries. Prior to Fairwaves, he worked at SIPez , where he developed an open-source VoIP stack and applications. Alexander is often considered as an expert in open-source software and hardware, VoIP and telecom systems. He holds a degree in computer science and mathematical modeling. As a hobby, Alexander is participating in non-commercial activities as a founder of the Moscow hackerspace Neuron and a member of the board of the Puschino Winter School, one of the best vacation schools for kids in Russia. He is a 2013/2014 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program in Moscow.
