Founded by SLP Fellow Dr. Shivananda Koteshwar, Belakoo Trust is a not-for-profit NGO, which aims to provide quality K-10 education for children from underprivileged communities across rural and urban India. 

Under its Belakoo Library Project, the organization set 20 free-for-all micro-libraries at 20 hot spots across Bangalore city as a way of spreading the love for reading. The libraries are made from completely sustainable materials, in a partnership with TrashCon. 

Belakoo Trust recently won an award for the Belakoo Library Project from the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Mr. Basavaraj Bommai. The organization aims to set up more of these module libraries across Karnataka.
