Groundwork is a sports fintech platform that helps nonprofit teams budget, collect, and spend money transparently through its digital banking platform. It was recently acquired by Snap! Mobile, Inc., the creator of SnapRise, a digital fundraising platform for high school arts and athletics programs. 

SLP Fellow Bill Lennon co-founded Groundwork to make managing money easy and safe for youth sports leaders and volunteers. The company has processed more than $125M in payments from 13,800 teams since its inception. 

Through the acquisition, Snap! Mobile, Inc. will expand its product range to become the first integrated fintech solution built specifically to enable high school arts, athletic and youth sports programs.
