JOHANN KALCHMAN’S (SLP PARIS, 2016) LIFEAZ (DEFIBRILLATOR DEVELOPER) RAISES $4.5M FROM MUTUELLES IMPACT, MANAGED BY XANGE

SLP Fellow Johann Kalchman co-founded Lifeaz with a mission to save lives. The company has developed an automatic and connected defibrillator, CLARK, for individuals and small structures. CLARK is designed to be light and easy to use.

Lifeaz raised $4.5M from Mutuelles Impact, the French Mutual Fund managed by Xange. This round of funding will enable Lifeaz to accelerate the commercial development of CLARK and deploy it in Europe. The company will also be able to recruit 30 employees within a year and invest in technological research for its defibrillator.
