Amit Aggarwal is the Founder of Mangobird., a mobile apps entertainment and gaming company. As an early ador of the mobile platform, Amit was responsible for developing the first lost device recovery tool on mobile, named Find My Phone, originally released in 2009. Unpatented and untrademarked, this app went on to inspire countless clones and today has become an industry standard in name and functionality. Prior to founding Mangobird, Amit worked at Truveo, a video search engine which at its peak served 100 million videos daily. There he was responsible for developing and optimizing critical components of the engineering pipeline. Today, Amit is most passionate about Karaoke, a great pastime which he intends to bring to the world in a new and innovative way. Amit holds a degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. Anna is works at San Francisco General Hospital. She completed her MD and MPh at the Harvard Medical School after a year at the Harvard School of Public Health. In medical school her focus has been in community health and community-based research. At the School of Public Health she was exposed to the powerful contribution that social enterprise can have to innovation in health care delivery. With two other students she formed Unite for Health!, a non-profit working to bring powerful approaches to screening and treatment for cardiovascular disease in China. The business plan for Unite for Health! won the 1st place in the Harvard Business School Business Plan Competition, Social Enterprise Track. She also completed the Zuckerman Fellowship in leadership and public service at Harvard University, concurrent with her year at the School of Public Health. Her interests are increasingly centered on delivery quality care for people with chronic diseases, and she plans to do a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Geriatrics. Through social entrepreneurship, she plans to contribute her clinical and public health background to the creation of feasible and evidence-based solutions for chronic diseases in resource-poor communities.
